2011 marks Sandra's 20th year as a bellydancer.  What started on a whim became a passion.  Sandra danced in Texas for over 13 years, teaching, performing, and as a board member of her local Middle Eastern dance association.  Now in western Loudoun County, she still teaches and performs, and was a co-founder of Tiraz Dance Network.

Ravena began her dance training at the age of 5, and made the shift to bellydance in 2001.  After years of intensive training, she now teaches and performs in the DC Metro area and at several events along the East Coast.  She has formal training in all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and ballroom dancing.

Ravena has studied and attended workshops with many well-known instructors across the US including Suhaila Salimpour, Aziza of Montreal, Rhea of Greece, and Emar Gemal to name only a few.  In 2005, Ravena created Ravena Designs - a Middle Eastern dance clothing and accessories company.  She managed this successful international business until 2010, when she closed her doors to focus on other bellydance ventures.  In 2008, she was awarded the Aliya Quinn Middle Eastern Dance Scholarship award.  Ravena was the first recipient of this award.  Ravena currently teaches at Life Wellness in Sterling and is the director of Diva Hips Bellydance Troupe. www.novabellydance.com

Originally from Maryland, Ayperi has had a passion and appreciation for Middle Eastern dance for as long as she can remember; having a mother who performed and taught dance in the 1970's.  As a child, Ayperi took up a great deal of ballet before becoming briefly interested in sports.  After moving to Northern Virginia in 2001, she began attending weekly Middle Eastern dance classes.  Today, Ayperi continues her dance education, performs at various public and private functions in the Washington DC metropolitan area, and recently became a proud member of the Tiraz Dance Network.  To find out more about Ayperi, visit www.dancewithayperi.com

Although she has been dancing all her life, Kelly discovered Middle Eastern dance in summer 2010.  She recently became a member of the Diva Hips Bellydance Troupe.

Kelly is also a certified yoga instructor with 12 years of teaching experience.  She teaches yoga at local gyms in Loudoun County as well as workshops and privately.  As the newest member of the Tiraz Dance Network Board, Kelly brings over 15 years of marketing and management experience along with her new found passion for Belly Dance.
